Relaunching My Blog!

Share & Comment

Hey fellow friends, students, coworkers, and random people on Google that stumbled across my blog and decided I looked interesting enough to follow, I know it's been a while since I've written my last blog. While I've continued to write a ton since graduation, I haven't really published anything.

I've missed sharing my stories and thoughts and hope that I have some that may be interesting enough to entertain you for a few seconds of your day. That's why I've decided to relaunch my blog. While the relaunch will probably take a few weeks to fully complete, I have a number of tweaks and updates planned for my website, and you can now access it via brandonblurb.com.

The largest changes are what I plan on writing about and how I plan on categorizing my blogs. I decided to lay out my blog in the following format: past, present, future. That's because in order to feel self-fulfilled, I think you must emphasize all three of them in your everyday life. Here's a summary of what I plan on including in each:

Past
This will include stories that I think are worth sharing from past travels, projects, etc. The goal here is not to post a million photos and document my entire trip or project experience. Instead, I'm going to focus on some experience, person, etc. that stood out that has a story worth telling.

Present
This will be the new section for my blurbs. These will just be thoughts and life advice that I think are worth sharing.

Future
An engineer's blog wouldn't be complete with some tech talk. I'm not going to waste my time reviewing every aspect of some new iPhone or laptop. Gizmodo or Engadget can do that a lot better than me. Instead, I'm going to share any cool and exciting projects that I find that I think could have a major impact on our lives someday that I think are worth sharing and commentating on.

Hope you enjoy, and I couldn't be more excited for the articles to come! Thanks for reading, and add any topics you'd like to see in the comment section below.
